Dry Suit Specialty
Not all of the worlds best diving is in warm tropical waters. In fact some fantastic diving can be found on our own doorstep in the waters around the coast of Britain.
As these waters are somewhat cooler than their tropical counterparts additional thermal insulation is required to view the fabulous wrecks, varied wildlife and stunning panoramas of temperate waters. The dry suit specialty course teaches you to safely use the ultimate in exposure protection.
To enrol in a dry suit course you must be over 12 years of age, be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and fill in and sign a medical statement.
The course is structured in two parts.
You receive a manual and video which you study at your leisure. You then will spend one evening where you will be taught dry suit theory in the classrooms followed by a session in the swimming pool.
You then need to complete two open water dives. This can be done over one day at a local dive site.
The cost for the course will include manual, video, emblem (given upon certification) tuition, equipment, air fills and certification.
